Obituary of Marjorie Kathleen Palmer

Marjorie Kathleen (Hoffman) Palmer, 70, of Duluth passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016. She was born Dec. 19, 1945 in Duluth to Conrad and Marjorie Hoffman. Kathy, as she was known to her friends, was a 1964 graduate of Denfeld High School. She retired after 35 plus years in the Healthcare Industry. Kathy worked for Cremation Society of Minnesota after retirement and enjoyed helping others and her community. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Nile. She was honored with the title of Queen twice from the Lotus Temple. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Yvette (Dave Sibert) Robinson of Little Canada, Minn., James (Julie) Robinson Jr. of Andover, Minn., and Misty-Marie (Michael) Hanson of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Christopher (Chelsea) Martin, William Robinson, Brody Robinson, Marissane, Mason, and Maverick Hanson, Mariah Smolnikar, Emma and Gavin Silbernagel; a great-grandson, Connor Martin; sister, Patricia (Rick) ten Cate; brothers, Richard (Kathryn) Hoffman and Ronald (Anne) Hoffman; and sister of the heart, Phyllis (Denny Elder) Kruell. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Nov. 26, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., 218-624-5200.
