Obituary of Richard Walter Albrecht

Richard Walter Albrecht, age 70 of North St. Paul MN, passed away peacefully at home March 1, 2023, after a short fight with MSA & Parkinson’s. He is proceeded in death by his parents William & Mary Albrecht.

Rick was a vibrant man who made everyone feel safe and loved. He had an amazing smile and the kindest eyes. Rick made an impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved kids and was involved in church youth groups, coaching softball, and was involved with girl and boy scout troops. Rick loved baseball, hockey, Mustang convertibles, coffee, black licorice, and above all else, his family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

He is survived by wife of 42 years, Pam; two daughters, Melanie (Erik) Spies and Cassie Albrecht; his beloved grandchildren, Cody, Angelica, Seth, Elizabeth, and Mason; and siblings, Bill, Cathe (Bob), Sue (Mike), Marge, and Ken; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11AM, visitation at 10AM, with reception to follow, at Cremation Society of MN, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St Paul, MN 55119.
