Obituary of Lori Negard

Lori (Jurek) Negard, 52, of Duluth, passed away Monday, Dec 5, 2016. She was born Dec. 15, 1962 in Duluth to Barbara and Bernard Jurek. Lori spent most of her adult life raising her two boys in Beaver Bay. She was a member of the Beaver Bay Firettes, Community Theatre, Vineyard Church and Community Education Board. She was one of the three founding members of the Beaver Lodge and the brains behind 16 consecutive years of St. Urho's Day floats. She also enjoyed pulling crazy pranks with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and father Bud. Lori is survived by her mother, Barbara Jurek; two sons, Dyre Negard (Alyssa and Natalie) and Devin Negard; sisters, Lynn Bishop and Lisa (Scott) Pichetti; friend, Kurt Tarnowski, and her many friends and family. Lori will be forever loved and greatly missed by her many friends and family.
