Obituary of Mary Jane Sonnek

Age 84 of Farmington Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Preceded in death by parents, George and Florence Martens. Survived by husband of 60 years Raymond; children, Galen (Maryanne); John (Tina); Cindy; Judy (Chuck); Jeff; Jackie; Jerry (Vickie); Jane. 9 Grandchildren; 5 Great-grandchildren; many other cherished family members. Mary Jane loved her family and grand and great grandchildren. Besides loving her family she enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends, shopping on-line, having her nails and hair done. She was a strong woman with the kindest heart. She will enjoy her rest after raising 8 children. She has earned her wings in heaven. And grandma Mary Jane's wisdom to Jeremy: "Oh, I'm awesome. Any idiot who had 8 kids 2 sets of twins in 13 months is pretty awesome." Celebration of life will be held December 18, 2016 at the Minnesota Veterans Home Minneapolis; 5101 Minnehaha Ave S; Minneapolis, MN 55417; 612-548-5700.
