Obituary of Robert E. Stark

Robert E. Stark, 72, lifelong resident of Duluth passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. He was born May 30, 1944 in Duluth to Edwin and Florence Stark. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Proctor High School and attended Duluth Business School. On July 16, 1994 he married Patricia Wiseman. Bob worked for Twin Ports Optical and then for Enbridge retiring in 1999, after 28 years of service. He was a lifelong member of Augustana Lutheran Church. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Christopher Shatto; and grandson, Chad Shatto. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty; step-children, Jeffrey (Alvine) Shatto of Duluth, Diane (David) Conner of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Janet (Dave Johnson) Shatto of Duluth; 12 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; his sister, Nancy Stark of Duluth; special friends, Stan and Barb Jakubek; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of North Shore Estates for their kindness and care of Bob.
