Preceded in death by wife Janet of 58 years; brother, Donald. Survived by children, Susan Lick (Robert-deceased), Jeffrey (Jane), Nancy (Timothy) Boyd; Grandchildren: Justin (Amy) Hamlin, Amy (Adan) Cruz, Jeren Hamlin (Heidi Thiel), Angela Hallmark (Beth), Alison Hallmark, Jillisa (Tony) Rodriguez, Jordan (Leah) Hamlin, Brian Lick (fiancée Courtney Campeau), Jennifer (Brandon) Hammel, Timothy Blair. Great-grandchildren: Arianna, Samuel, Lucas, Cole, Hayden, Kalie, Jayleigh, McKenzie, (one more bundle of joy on the way), Claira, Annie, William, Bentley, Miley. Brothers: Douglas, Rev. Dick, Dewayne, Rev. Daniel. An army veteran of the Korean War. Long-time employee of 3M. Avid outdoorsman, enjoyed woodworking, mechanical and loved to travel (road trips to all 48 states), cards and enjoyed life (and in his younger years enjoyed partying a jokester to the end). He will be remembered and missed. A memorial service will be TUESDAY, December 27, 2016 at 7:00 pm with visitation from 4-7 pm at Cremation Society of MN; 1979 Old Hudson Road; St. Paul. 651-789-0404. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association. Private family interment.
