Obituary of Larry A. Ugstad

Larry A. Ugstad, 66, a lifelong resident of Hermantown, passed away peacefully with loving family at his side Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, in Solvay Hospice House. Larry was born Feb. 24, 1950, in Duluth, to Helmer and Esther Ugstad. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his favorite wife, Lynn; daughters Shelly Westerlund, Amanda (Rich) McMillen, Amy Ugstad, April Ugstad and Ashley (Charlie) Carter; grandchildren Spencer and Addison McMillen and Natalie and Allison Carter; sisters Joan Weir and Beverly (Reggie) Vigness; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and his favorite dog, Tilly. The family would like to thank the staff at Solvay Hospice House for their kind and compassionate care of Larry. Per Larry's request no service will be held.
