Obituary of Carol Ann Chapman

Chapman, Carol Ann “Lovey”, age 81, of Shakopee, passed away at her home on December 23, 2016. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved gardening, painting, sewing and baking cookies. Preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Calvin. Survived by loving husband of 63 years, Gene “Chick”; children, Pamela (Bill) Skoglund, Julie Chapman (Dave Gardner), Mark (Linda) Chapman and Scott Chapman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Beryl Kleaver, Imogene Stickney and Athlene Simon; brother, John Pingel and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, visitation 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 29 at First Presbyterian Church, 909 Marschall Road, Shakopee. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the State Services for the Blind.
