Obituary of Cecelia M. Podobinski

Passed away on December 31, 2016 at age 101 Beloved mother, grandmother & great-grandma Born on a farm in Wells, MN & spent most of her life in Saint Paul. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul. Survived by daughter Carolyn (Gary) Bolen & son James Podobinski; grandchildren Paul Bolen, Andrew Bolen, Lauren (Brad) Roquet & Jillian Podobinski; great-granddaughter Sophia Roquet; sister Angela Podobinski; brother Jerry Chirpich; sister-in-law Frances Wiatros; also many nieces & nephews. Known as a loyal friend and for her many talents especially her artful arrangements of beautiful roses which she grew in her Frogtown garden. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Saturday, January 7th at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, 934 East Geranium Ave, St. Paul, with a gathering one hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM. Private interment. A heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Health East Hospice.
