Obituary of Vera Terry

Vera Terry, 88, of Superior, passed away on Jan. 9, 2017, in St. Mary's Essentia Medical Center - Duluth, surrounded by her loving family. Vera was born in Interantional Falls, to Conrad and Anastasia Wolk. She graduated from Falls high school. She worked in the Falls and, also, met her husband of 67 years, Edgar Terry there. They moved to Superior, in 1958 and raised their three sons. The joys in Vera's life included caring for the many plants that she had in her home and seeing the wonder in her children's pets. But, above all, her family and her church meant the world to her. Vera was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Cy Wolk; sister, Fedosa Leolich. She is survived by her husband, Edgar of Superior; her sons, Ryan (Joanne) Terry of Stillwater, Minn., Randy (Janice) Terry of Superior, and Robby (Karla) Terry of Superior; grandchildren, Melissa Dangles, Michelle (David) Dreckmann, Jamie Lyn Terry; four great-grandchildren. Vera's family wishes to thank the nursing staff of St. Mary's Essentia (3rd and 6th floors) for the guidance and kind care they gave our loved one. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, in St. Albans Episcopal Church, with Fr. Steven Burns officiating.
