Obituary of Gerald Harvey Hansen

Gerald “Jerry” Harvey Hansen, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Elsie. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kathy of 34 years; children: Beth (Tim) Saufley, Sue (Mike) Fredericks and Paul; grandchildren: Jake, Alisa (Andy Barnes), Kate, Joe, Anne, Tom, Carly and Rowan; great-granddaughters, Madison, and Claire; brother, Don (Carol); sister, Dorie (Larry) Grady; sister-in-law, Sharon Banon; brother-in-law, Paul (Maxine) Banon and many nieces, nephews and longtime dear friends. Jerry will be greatly missed, but we are comforted that he is resting peacefully. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Golden Valley Animal Humane Society.
