Obituary of James A. Anderson

Anderson, James A. Jim, 61, died suddenly on January 14, 2017. Preceded in death: father, James Roland. Survived by mother Virginia and brother John. His wife of 38 years Betsy; daughters Meta (Michael) Getman and Natalie Anderson; sons Bobby (Molly) Anderson and Kenny Anderson. Twin granddaughters Adeline and Eleanor Getman and twin grandsons Joseph and Henry Anderson. Many beloved family members especially his 3 nieces and 11 nephews. Jim graduated from Edina High School (1974), University of Denver (1978), and Bethel Seminary (2006). He enjoyed 25 years in business before becoming Executive Pastor at Westwood Community Church. Jim's love for Jesus Christ fueled his life long passion for people; co-workers, neighbors, and especially his cherished friends. Celebrate his life Friday, January 20th at Westwood Community Church, 3121 Westwood Drive, Excelsior, MN 55331. Visitation begins at 9:30 am, service at 11:00 am and a reception to follow.
