Obituary of Katie “Poppy” Juhnke

Katie "Poppy" (Noran) Juhnke, 69, died suddenly on January 14, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Kay Noran. Survived by husband of 49 years, Tom; son, Scott; daughter, Lisa (Tim) Laughlin; grandchildren: Charlie and Maggie Laughlin and Alex Rivera; brothers, Steve (Anna) Noran and Bill (Sally) Noran and many beloved family members, especially her nieces and grand-nieces. Katie graduated from Edina High School in 1965. She loved her 35 year career at HCMC. Katie had a generous heart which was apparent in her love for family, co-workers, cherished friends, neighbors and her animals. Celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Memorials to: American Heart Association or Animal Humane Society.
