Obituary of Russ Chester Peterson

Died unexpectedly January 17, 2017 at the age of 58. Russ was born on February 10, 1958, and except for a period of 6 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Russ spent most of his life in St. Paul, Minnesota. Russ was a loyal and valued employee of R. R. Donnelly in St. Paul for 15 years. He loved his Twins and his Vikings and rarely missed a game. He cherished his friendships and lived for that precious annual fishing trip with his friends to Lake Vermillion. But the light of his life was his daughters, Randi and Ronni, and his grandson and buddy, Bryson. Russ was a good man with a big heart and a gentle soul. By his own admission, he was a simple man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Russ was preceded in death by his father, Paul William Peterson and his mother, Anna Mae (Sundquist) Peterson. Russ is survived by his daughters, Randi (fiancé Tyler Smith) and Ronni (fiancé Mitch Hupp) Peterson, his grandson, Bryson Jones, his sisters, Christine Barton, Terri (John) Cerveny, Kay (Gerald) Pepper, his former spouse, Robbin (Tim) Herber and many nieces, nephews and friends.
