Obituary of Curtis Rollyn Montgomery

Curtis Rollyn Montgomery, born on July 24, 1974 and left us in the early morning hours of January 18, 2017 surrounded by many beloved family members. Curtis is survived by his amazing wife Constance (Connie) McLean-Montgomery, Son Alex Swanson, Daughters: Leah McLean (Chris Olson), Isabella (Bella) Montgomery, beloved Mother Darlene Locklear, Sisters: Kelly (James) Schablin, Monday Locklear, Tonya and Trisha, Brothers: Sam Vera, Michael Locklear, Brandon, Ricky, Lee and many other extremely close family members; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many friends. Curtis had great relationships with all around him, known for his strength, hard work, and genuine nature. He's an individual that was truly the rock of our family, a confidante for so many of us. He genuinely enjoyed his precious time with all of his family and friends. Throughout his short 42 year life journey, Curtis graduated from Park Center High school and went on to become an owner/operator of his own hardwood flooring business with great success. During this time he faced three different types of cancer; he faced each experience with an astonishing amount of strength, grace, and humility. Never taking a minute for granted, Curtis was always up for anything. He was an avid golfer, a tremendous fisherman, and a very lucky bingo player. He loved his time up north, keeping our family traditions going, guy trips, shooting guns, camping, boating, Duluth adventures, traveling, sports shows, family game nights, shopping, and simply making others laugh.
