Obituary of Charles E. Carda

Charles "Chuck" E. Carda, long time resident of Milwaukee, WI, passed away from pneumonia on Friday January 20th. At the time of his death he was a resident of Johanna Shores Presbyterian Home in Arden Hills, Minnesota. He was the only child of Charles and Lorraine (nee Moretzke) Carda who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Jenkins) of 53 years, his son Thomas C (Karla) his daughter Marie (Martin), grandchildren Thomas J, Sydney, Breeanna, Emma, Grace, Abbie, Shawn and other relatives and friends. He served in the United States Air Force Reserve and was very involved in the Boy Scouts, serving as Scout Master for many years. He was a retiree of WE Energies after 25+ years of employment and his favorite past times were fishing, singing in the church choir and telling bad jokes. He is being cremated and there will be a service on Friday March 10th at 1pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 3820 W. Layton Avenue, Greenfield, WI 53221. Interment, 2:00 p.m., at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
