Obituary of Bradley David Lippert

Bradley David Lippert, age 53, of Prescott passed from this world on January 23, 2017, peacefully at home in his wife’s arms and surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brad fought to be with his family and friends until the very end. Brad was born on January 28, 1963 in Willmar, MN to Dorothy and Roger Lippert. Brad was one of five children. He grew up on a farm in Blomkest, MN, always keeping everyone on their toes while looking for a good time with his brothers. He fell in love and married Karen Welsh on August 13, 1983. They started their family in Bird Island, MN where they had three girls; Tonya, Becca, & Kelly. Aside from being a loving husband and father, one of Brad’s pride and joys was running the local lumberyard, Fullerton Building Center. Brad, Karen, and the girls moved to Ellsworth, WI in 1994 to advance his career with Fullerton. It was in WI where Brad and his family started enjoying their summers boating. They tried to get out on the river every weekend, and many of their most cherished memories were out on the boat together. Brad will be remember most for his love of other people. He always said his favorite thing to do is go out for dinner and drinks with friends and family. Brad is survived by his wife Karen; daughters Tonya (Eric) Ellis, Becca (Mike) Bang, and Kelly Lippert; his father Roger Lippert; his brothers, Doug (Vicki) Lippert, Dan (Betsy) Lippert, Brian Lippert, and Dean Lippert; sisters-in-law Julie (Joe) Griffith, Lori (Doug) Donald, and brother-in-law Kevin (Marcia) Welsh, and Mark (Angela) Welsh; and many nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Lippert, sister-in-law Tracey Lippert; and his paternal and maternal grandparents. A visitation and the funeral service for Brad will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prescott, WI at 269 Dakota St. S., Prescott, WI 54021. The visitation will be from 5p-7p on Thursday, January 26, as well as, from 10a-11a on Friday, January 27th. The funeral will take place at 11am, followed by a luncheon at the Church to celebrate Brad’s life.
