Obituary of Alice Adeline Albrecht
Albrecht, Alice Adeline (née Bergmark) of New Hope passed away peacefully at 95 on February 1. She retained her unconditional love, beautiful kindness, and wondrous sense of humor to the end. Her husband Bob and two of their children, Chris and Martha, preceded her in death. Alice was born in 1921 to Carl Arthur Bergmark and Anna Sophia Hanson, who emigrated from Sweden and then met in Chicago. After her parents died she was raised by her mother's sister Esther and her husband Carl Granberg, and thereby gained a little brother, Roy. Alice is survived by five children, Eric (Kathy), Karin (Christopher) Hall, Ann, Kurt (Julie), and Lisa (Dave) Wilzbacher. Other survivors include cousins Roy Granberg and Ruth Biesman; grandchildren Ted, Tim, and Jennifer Hall, Christopher Hawthorne, Tanya and Nathan Albrecht, Justin Bauer, Rosa Beltran, Rita Daniels; nine great-grandchildren; and granddogs Henry, Ole, Lena, Pedro and Bruno. A family gathering has been held in the Minneapolis area. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio, alongside Chris, Martha, and Bob.
