Obituary of Julius Clifford Matson

MATSON, Julius Clifford, age 94, of Brainerd, passed away on July 12, 2018. Member of Local 49 Operating Engineers. United States Army Veteran who served in Guam and the Phillipines. He is preceded in death by son, Mark; parents, Matt and Clara; brother, Carlisle; sisters, Ardis, Clarine, and Rosella. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Norma (McCalvy); children, Michael (Pam), Brent, Julie (Kim) Meyer; grandsons, Dustin Matson, Derrek Matson, David Meyer, Adam Meyer and their wives; great grandchildren, Stella, Benji, Colton; sister, Delores Watson; brother, Melvin (Sue) Matson; many relatives and friends. Visitation 1 hour before service. Memorial Service 11am Thursday, July 26 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 8th Ave. N., Brainerd.
