Obituary of Virginia McDonald

Virginia "Ginny" McDonald age 94, lifelong resident of Duluth passed away peacefully Thursday, July 12, 2018 while at Viewcrest Health Center. She was born December 14, 1923 in Duluth and was a 1942 graduate of Denfeld High School. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W; son, Richard; granddaughter, Tammy and twin granddaughters, Katie and Amanda; brother, Robert Anderson. She is survived by her children, Kenny (Barb), Barbara (Dwight) Langfeld, Debra (Gregg Morris) Abbett and David (Karen) all of the Duluth area; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, LaDonna Zomerfelt and Marlene Daniels; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staffs of Viewcrest Health Center and Essentia Hospice for their excellent care of Ginny. Gathering of family and friends from 2 pm until the 3pm memorial service Tuesday, July 17th in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth.
