Obituary of Bennet E. Cyrus

Cyrus, Bennet E. Age 70 of North Oaks passed away Feb 5, 2017 Preceded in death by parents and one brother. Bennet came to the United States in 1969 to pursue a degree in Computer Science. He worked at TCF Bank for 14 years and owned and operated Metro Travel & Tours for 35 years with his wife Diane and his family. Bennet was an exceptional entrepreneur and a mentor to many. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His spirit lives on in everyone who knew him. He instilled in his children the drive to work hard and a passion for excellence. He loved the Vikings and those in his section would often join in his rant WDS! He enjoyed a smooth glass of Johnny Walker, lounging in his Zubaz, socializing with his group of longtime friends and watching his grandsons grow. Survived by his children Zaneeta Best (Cyrus), Rajeev Cyrus, Tasha Cyrus, their mother Diane Cyrus his daughter Jasmine Cyrus. Daughter in-law Teresa Cyrus, Grandsons Parker, Hayden and Glenn. Sister Betsy, Nephew Bijoy, Niece Bynthia, God Daughter Rachel. Many close friends including Mr. Daniel Kaiyalethe and family, and loving family in India.
