Obituary of Marcella Ann Anderson

Marcella Ann "Miss Martie" Anderson, age 86, of Mpls, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Feb 5, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Henrietta Moritz; sisters, Doree Wanlund and Pearl Stresman; brother, Ken Moritz and sister-in-law, Phyllis Moritz; and brothers-in-law, Fritz Wanlund and Ken Stresman. Survived by son, Merrick Duffee (Louise); daughter, Desiree Duffee; granddaughter, Natalia; great-grandson, Namari; brother, Dale Moritz (Jan); many nieces and nephews; partner-in-life, Bob Anderson and his family. Martie lived her life as a devout Christian with a deep belief in God. A longtime member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Bloomington, and Order of the Eastern Star. Her love of life and spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. A celebration of Martie's life will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Bloomington on May 6, 2017 at 2 PM.
