Obituary of Reynold Emanuel Holmen

Age 100 !! Peacefully passed away Feb. 7, 2017 Rey's extraordinary life was filled with a strong faith in God, kindness towards others and a drive to understand the scientific wonders around us. He was a skilled woodworker and exceptional photographer which he passed on to children and grandchildren. As an adventurer he climbed many of the Teton Peaks at 17 . An avid hiker and skier, family trips often had mountains as the theme. With a PhD. in Chemistry, he worked 30+ yrs at 3M and held many patents before retireing in 1982. He and his wife Betty (Heginbottom) traveled and saw the world. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. He will be missed. Preceded in death by loving wife Betty as well as his second wife Johnnie-May (Gaust). Survived by children: Karen (Nino), John (Barbara), Robert. Grandchildren: Michael (Stacy), Brian, Ana.
