Obituary of William P. Cragg

William P. Cragg Cragg, William “Willy”, age 52 from Champlin, MN. Willy was born on June 29, 1964 and passed away on February 7, 2017 at the young age of 52. Willy fought courageously until the end against his many illnesses. He passed away surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary. Survived by his wife Sue; daughter Maggie; father William; sisters Jovita (Todd) Passenheim; Patricia (Manuel) Cervantes; father and mother-in-law Richard and Marion Gross; sister-in-laws Connie (Marty) Callander; Karen (David) Holly; Diane Gross (Scott Gjerstad); nieces Sasha, Amber, Martina, Emma, Rachel, Corinna, Nicole, Tiana; nephews Joshua,Jeffrey, Jose; daughter’s boyfriend Scott Lessard and many other relatives and friends. Willy was a devoted husband, father, and friend. His true passion was hockey and he loved the Minnesota Wild and watching his daughter’s hockey games along with her many other sporting events. Willy was a kind, lovable and funny person and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 11th at 12:00 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Highway, Maple Grove, MN with visitation one hour prior to service.
