Obituary of Betty Jane Pfeiffer

Betty Jane Pfeiffer of Duluth passed away peacefully Friday, Feb 10, 2017, in Benedictine Health Care Center with loving family at her side. Betty was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Duluth, to Henry and Bertha Anderson. She was preceded in death by husbands Kenneth L. Skoglund in 1956 and Kenneth H. Pfeiffer in 1987; her parents; brother Henry Anderson Jr. in 2000; and sister Marjorie Lillyman in 2008. Betty is survived by her children, Lawrence "Larry" Skoglund and Bruce (Barb) Skoglund, all of Duluth; stepchildren Lee Pfeiffer and Jill (John) Hershman, all of Huron, S.D.; grandson Richard (Sandra) Skoglund; five step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Raymond, Rilyn and Reese Skoglund; six step-great-grandchildren; brother Raymond Anderson of Duluth; and sister Carol Anderson of Seattle, Wash. A private family service will be held.
