Patricia Schultz

Obituary of Patricia Schultz

Schultz, Patricia “Patty” Age 63, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side, on July 13, 2018 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Patty's passions included boating, her love of the ocean (Hawaii was one of her favorite trips), shopping, baking Christmas cookies, always helping others before herself, silly shenanigans which occasionally made those around her roll their eyes, HGTV, dodging photos, and 60's music including the Beach Boys & all country as well as Michael Bublé. Patty was a social butterfly, hardworking and wise woman! She took pride in being a loyal friend! She was also a compassionate soul who became a mother figure to many and those that entered her life and heart will remain there forever. (You know who you are!) She was always willing to lead by example... some good, some not so good, but always with love. Preceded in death by husband, Keith Schultz in 1999; parents, Edgar and Etta Agotness, brother, Dennis; mother-in-law, Helen Schultz. Survived by her loved ones; sister Verna (David) Heiberg, daughter, Aimee Schultz; beloved grandchildren, Allison, Elizabeth and many more; her significant other, Jerry Benson of 10+ years; many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and their faithful dog, Kirby. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 12 noon @ Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369, with a visitation one hour prior. Lunch reception to follow. A microphone will be available, during the reception, for all to share their loving and funny memories of her life! The more the merrier! In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred, to her daughter, to help cover Patty's expenses: medical, funeral, burial, headstone, etc. If you're unable to attend and would like to send a tribute or memorial, you may do so via PayPal: www.PayPal.me/SweetMN or C/O Aimee Schultz to Advent Lutheran Church. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating her life!
