Obituary of Duane V. Jensen

Duane V. Jensen, age 94, of Edina, passed away on February 13, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, sisters and daughter, Nancy. Duane "Jens" always had a great sense of humor joking with everyone that he met. He loved to golf and was often quoted to say "keep your head down" among other memorable quotes. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Survived by wife, Fay; sons Jay (Sue), Scott (Jacque) and Todd (Mary); step-son David; grandchildren Melanie (David), Mitch, Kelly, Joseph (Lauren), Steve and Mollie; and great-grandchildren Gracie and Jonah. A special thank you to the staff of The Waters of Edina who provided loving care and comfort to Duane. Funeral service will be on Monday 3 PM at The Waters of Edina in the Community Room, 6300 Colonial Way in Edina. Visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Pastor Scott's Inner City Ministry at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.
