Obituary of Carleen Ann Gates

Carleen Ann Gates, 55, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 in her home. Carleen was born in Duluth on Jan. 7, 1962 to Carl and Margaret Gates. She graduated from East High School and worked at the Fond-Du-Luth Casino for 16 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl. Carleen is survived by her mother, Margaret; brother, David; sisters, Colleen (Glen) Akerstrom, and Jeanine (Bill) Ellis; and nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Memorial Service, Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, in Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, in Duluth.
