Obituary of The Canon Charles Vogt

The Rev. Canon Charles Vogt Age 84, of Edina, MN. Passed away peacefully on February 20, 2017. He was an Episcopal Priest for 58 years, serving parishes in Ohio, Connecticut, Montana and Minnesota. Preceded in death by children, Anne and Chad. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Jean; daughter, Mary (Matt) Jacobs; grandchildren, Chase, Christian, Skyler, Jackson and William; daughter-in-law, Carol Vogt; son-in-law, Roy Hyland; brother, Richard (Dorothy) Vogt; sister, Betsy Rueb; nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service at 2 pm on Friday, March 3rd at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, 519 Oak Grove St., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edina or donor’s choice.
