Obituary of Monroe Skon

SKON, Monroe “Scotty”, age 83, of Brooklyn Park, passed away at home on February 20, 2017. Preceded in death by son, Monroe D. Skon; parents, George and Marie Skon; brother, George (Margaret); sisters, Eldan Horschiner (Henry), Irene Faust (Earl), Bonnie Miller (John), Marie Wesely (Ben). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Terri Skon; grandchildren, Jacob, Lori, Tony, and Rachel; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. Special Thanks to Tom Braaten for friendship and kindness; Dave and Su Wesely for being dear friends and to North Memorial Hospice for their care. Memorial Service 11am Monday, February 27th at The Church of St. Gerard Majella, 9600 Regent Ave N., Brooklyn Park (763-424-8770) with visitation 1 hour before service.
