Obituary of Bonnie Marie Fossmo

Bonnie Marie Fossmo, age 78, longtime resident of Duluth, passed away peacefully Friday, February 24, 2017. She was born at home on Park Point December 25, 1938 to Harry and Genevieve “Neva” Fossmo. Bonnie cannot be defined by conventional criteria or by familiar measures. Nevertheless, she was more than loved, she was influential because of her attitude and spirit. Bonnie had less than her fair share but she was much happier than almost all. She lived with her family for most of her life and later resided at Lakeside Manor and finally at Golden Oaks in Proctor where she passed away as the sun arose Friday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Fossmo and Neva (Bill) Gates. Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Gloria (Tom) Lyle of Duluth and Linda (Ken) Parker of Woodstock, GA and her brother, William “Bill” (Jan) Fossmo of Salt Lake City, UT; several loving nieces and nephews. Gathering of family and friends from 1 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. memorial service Sat., March 4th at Saint Andrew’s By The Lake on Park Point. Cremation Society of Minnesota, 218-624-5200.
