Obituary of Dick Hemberger

Preceded in death by son, Henry. Survived by love of his life, his wife, Carol. Children Nancy (Jim) Schult; Geralyn (Marty) Welch; Paul (Amanda) Hemberger; Joseph Hemberger; Thomas (Lisa) Hemberger; Matthew (Jill) Hemberger; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Retired after 30 years of teaching and coaching for South Washington County Schools and another 20 years keeping the grounds green at River Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. Loved fishing, pets practical jokes, poker, cards and sports. Most of all loved each and every member of his family with all of his heart. Visitation at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Cottage Grove on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 4-7 PM. Celebration of Life will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Catholic Church in Hastings on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Private family burial. Memorials preferred to family.
