Obituary of Carol Elizabeth Takle

Carol Elizabeth Sommerfield Takle lost her 5 year battle with fronto-temporal degeneration on March 3rd, at 12:45, and went home to be with Jesus. Carol was a wonderful wife, friend, and companion, and will be missed forever. Born April of 1951, she is survived by Steven , her husband of 46 years. Carol and Steven met while he was on active duty with the Navy in Alameda, Ca. He sent her roses every week. They married the following summer. He sent her flowers every week since then. To all those who helped us through this, from a visit to Carol, a short chat on the phone, or assistance with menus, remodeling, and laundry, thank you very much. You made a difficult journey a little easier. A remembrance service will be held 1-4pm on Sunday March 12th at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park, MN.
