Obituary of Roger Dean Bennett

Roger Dean “Fish Head” Bennett, 11/18/47 - 03/07/17 Roger had a passion for music, motorcycles, books, guns and Glenlivet. He was the wizard of little known facts that could stump a crowd. He called everybody a “Fish Head” or if he really liked you, he would tell you that he “Hated Your Ass.” He passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2017, after one of his favorite activities, band night with his best buddies, KTR, and drinking Rye. He is survived by Sue, who loved him dearly, Beth and Dani, his pride and joy, Sue and Jimmy Atwell, sister and brother in law, niece Carrie, nephew Carl, and beloved friend Mike, Carrie’s husband. Roger has joined all the great musicians, gun enthusiasts, and Harley riders in heaven. Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Eden Prairie, MN, on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Visitation at 11 am, service at noon, and a light lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Cremation Society of Edina, MN.
