Obituary of Daniel Lawrence Childs

Daniel Lawrence Childs, 73 of Grand Marais, MN died July 15th, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born to Maxwell, and Gladys Childs on April 10th, 1945 in Duluth, MN. Dan was an avid fisherman, and spent most of his days on Lake Superior with his brothers. Dan also loved to hunt. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Helen Childs, Eleanor Bice, and Sara Childs. Dan is survived by two sons, Max(Lisa)Childs, and Clayton(Laurie)Childs, and their mother Marie(Lester)Ludtke. Dan is also survived by seven siblings, Maxine Lear, Margaret(Earl)Edberg, Tom Childs, Jim(Phyllis)Childs, Chuck(Char)Childs, Glen(Cathy)Childs, and Edith Hill. He also had many nieces, and nephews. There will be a celebration of life for Dan at a later date, yet to be determined.
