Obituary of William Monahan

William Monahan, 73, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Duluth to John and Evelyn Monahan. Bill retired from Minnesota Power after 37 years of service. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Collen; son, Robert; and granddaughter, Nicole. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy; his children, Todd (Jodi) of Esko, Kevin (Kelly) of Esko, Tracey (Eric) of Phoenix; grandchildren McKenzie, Kori, Kalee, and Eric; great-grandson Dustin; along with his four-legged companion, Buddy. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pit Stop in Proctor. At Bill's request, there will not be a formal service.
