Obituary of Janice Jean Rau

Janice Jean Rau, age 81, of Richfield, MN, passed away peacefully at the Lodge on Summit Oaks on March 10, 2017. Jan dedicated her life to being a wife and mom. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents, Jerome and Agnes Skumautz and brother, Jim Skumautz. Survived by children: Lynda (John) Magnuson, Debbra (Reno) Overson, David (Karen Holmes) and Patricia (Lowell) Rieger; grandchildren: Angie, Katie, Lisa, Taylor, Ashley, Alison and Eric; great-grandchildren: Mason, Zachary, Samuel, Grace, Henry, Miles, Ariana, Liam, and Grace; siblings: Pat (Frank) Honer-Schulz, Dave (Jane) Skumautz, Carol (Roger) Pfannenstein, Sandy (Bill) Rau and Phil (Deb) Skumautz and other relatives and numerous friends. Celebration of Life will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, March 19 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435 (952) 924-4100. Visitation at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Lodge on Summit Oaks.
