Obituary of Dennis Dehnel

Dehnel, Dennis (Denny) Was born July 31, 1946 to Anna and LaVern (Lucky) Dehnel and passed away on March 12, 2017. He was a product of the '60s and graduated in 1965 from West High School. Denny met Nancy Carstens in 1976 and they became pretty much inseparable, often traveling together to warmer climates. Denny and Nancy married in 1992 and moved to their beloved Edina where they raised 2 children. Denny liked to talk and was perfectly suited for his career as a salesman of office equipment. He loved sports (especially baseball and basketball) and had a deep love of all forms of music from Jimi Hendrix to Marvin Gaye to Miles Davis. He also loved to cheer-on and support his children in all of their endeavors. Denny was preceded in death by his mother and his father. He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Taylor, son Joel, and many other friends and relatives. He will be truly missed. Visitation starting at 2:00, immediately followed by a Memorial gathering, will be on Tuesday, March 21 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota on France Avenue in Edina.
