Obituary of Virginia Hoffman

Hoffman, Virginia "The Lord bless thee and keep theeand give thee peace." Numbers 6:24-26. Virginia Hoffman, a long-time resident of Plymouth & Eagan, died peacefully, Tuesday, March 14th, with her children, Jeff, Mark and Cynthia, at her side. Born in 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, Virginia received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. She worked as a part-time educator, stay at home mom and, in later years, held an administrative position with AXA Advisors where she worked until her retirement. Virginia was a devoted mother to her 3 children and "G-Ma" to her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grand children. Nothing made her happier than being with family. She will forever be remembered for her cupcakes and strong cup of loving opinions. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; parents, Frederick and Hattie; sisters, Doris and Elizabeth and; two nephews, Steven and Jacob. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jordan Crossing, a non-denominational hospice center, currently 'under construction' in Plymouth and mailed to St. Barnabas Lutheran Church at 15600 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth, MN 55446. A celebration service will be held on Saturday, May 13th at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN.
