Obituary of Mary Von Fischer

Mary Jane von Fischer, 61, passed away suddenly from natural causes on March 15, 2017. Mary is someone who everyone loved and looked forward to spending time with. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and always made sure to prioritize quality time with her family, friends and those she came in contact with over the years. She was always there with kind words and sound advice, and lots of love for all those whose lives she touched. Mary was a long-time educator, who taught for more than 20 years. She was patient and dedicated to her students and always passionate about her work. A long time love of travel took Mary and Rick around the world, and they never hesitated to try new places, see new sights and explore new restaurants. As we remember and celebrate Mary’s life, we think of her deep love for her family, especially her husband, son and daughter-in-law, and her kind and sweet spirit. She was always welcoming, and made everyone feel at home and loved. We will miss her deeply. She is survived by her son Nick, daughter-in-law Sarah, and a grandbaby on the way. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Mary and Rick von Fischer on Tuesday, March 21 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Rd, St Paul. The memorial will be held from 4pm-8pm with the Celebration of Life Service to be held at 6pm. Children are welcome to attend.
