Obituary of Roger Wiley Sorci
Roger Wiley Sorci, 81, of Duluth, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Roger was born in Hibbing, on July 27, 1935 to Amedeo and Angeline Sorci.
He worked as a meat cutter at various supermarkets throughout his life. He was a gifted drummer and singer, playing in several bands.
Roger was a devoted father and grandfather, as well as a devoted life partner to Romelle Michog, having spent 30 years together.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Roger is survived by his life partner, Romelle; children, Robbin Cotton, Jane (John) Faegre, Steve (Laura) Sorci, Diane (Chris) Vigil, and Angela (Mark) Aufdenkamp; step-son, Marty Michog; grandchildren, Nick, Kyle, Mary, Dani, Claudia, Anna, Stephen, Raechal, Aidin, Olivia, Marissa, and Taija; and one great-grandchild, Ezrah.
The family would like to thank the third floor staff at Benedictine Health Center for their kindness.
