Obituary of Kathleen Ellen Pastoret

Kathleen Ellen "Kathy" Pastoret, age 74, of South Range, Wis. passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. Kathy was born April 30, 1942, in Ashland, Wis., the daughter of Henry and Patricia (Gorman) Morrin. She graduated from Bayfield High School in 1960, and then attended Business School in Duluth. On Dec. 27, 1969, Kathy married her best friend, Eugene "Lee" Pastoret at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bayfield. She worked as a waitress at Dreamland Supper Club and Eddy's until her disability forced her to retire in 2001. Kathy was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 28 years and a member of the Merry Widows Club. Kathy's husband, Lee preceded her in death in Dec. 12, 2009; also her parents; a brother, James Morrin; brother-in-law, Martin Peterson; and a niece, Wendy Meierotto. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Peterson of Bayfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial Mass Wednesday, March 22 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 4315 E. 3rd Street, Superior. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Bayfield at a later date.
