Obituary of Sylvia J. Neally

Sylvia J. Neally, 84, of Duluth passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 under the care of St. Luke's Hospice. Sylvia was born on February 17, 1933 to Burton and Constance (Dorman) Griffin. She was born in Mankato, but lived the remainder of her life in Duluth. She graduated from Stanbrook Hall in 1951. Sylvia worked at Glass Block, Industrial Welders & Machinists, Clyde Iron, and retired from Duluth Engineering and MFG in 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick; son Clyde B. Neally; her parents; brother Mark; and sisters Carolyn Andrews and Connie Casillas. Sylvia is survived by her daughter Mary Larson, son Bradley and stepson Wayne (Gail), all of Duluth; and six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Chris Jensen and St. Luke's Hospital for the extraordinary care they provided Sylvia. At Sylvia's request, no services will be held.
