Obituary of Katherine Virginia Wendell

WENDELL (Sundberg), Katherine “Kay” Virginia Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully , at age 98, with her family by her side, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Knute Nelson Care Center, in Alexandria, MN. She was a beautiful example of faith and love to our family and everyone she met and will be deeply missed. She has gone to join her beloved husband, Art, who preceded her in death in 2005 and was waiting for her with open arms. Survived by her children, Larry (Drenda) Wendell, Carolyn Wendell, Barb (Mike) Tamte, Pat Wendell, Lori Schneider, Bob (Lisa)Wendell; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; other relatives and good friends. Per her wishes, private family services.
