Obituary of Lynn Hanley Holtan

Lynn “Skip” Hanley Holtan Born November 26, 1940 in Faribault, MN to Chester Hanley and Gladys(Lynn) Holtan, passed away peacefully March 25, 2017, at age 76, in The Villa at Bryn Mawr, Minneapolis, MN where he resided since May, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, survived by brothers, Doug(Gail) and Mark (friend Debra); 2 nieces, Tracy Holtan, and Katie(Chris) Philippi; 6 great nieces and nephews, Dominik(NYC) and Savanna Ellena, Isabella McCormick, Tori, Maggie and Riley Philippi, all from the Twin Cities. Skip’s pleasant, quiet demeanor and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all that knew this gentle person, but comforted to know he is now at peace. Thanks for all the memories Skip. You will not be forgotten by your family and friends. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date. No memorials requested.
