Obituary of Nils Alton Grover

Nils Alton Grover, 79, fell asleep in death Thursday morning, March 30, 2017. He was born in Minneapolis on April 2, 1937, to Harold and Eva Grover. Nils graduated from Denfeld High School in 1955, and then attended UMD. He met his future wife, Susan, in 10th grade biology class. They were married April 20, 1957 and together raised two children. Nils was a faithful member of the Hunter's Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was generous and unsparing in helping many people accept God's word and apply it in their lives. His faith and integrity in God is an inspiration to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan and grand girl, Leah. Nils is survived by his daughter, Elisabeth (Richard) Hendrickson; son, David (Rebecca) Grover; brother, Douglas (Sang) Grover; three grand girls, Sarah (Michael) Stute, Lizzy Grover, Shannon (Ross) Lucas; and 10 great-grandchildren. VISITATION: 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. Memorial Service, Friday, April 7, 2017 in Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth.
