Obituary of Elizabeth Grembowski

Elizabeth Grembowski, age 84, of Burnsville, passed away on March 30, 2017. Preceded in death by son, Richard; brother, Lee Johnson; and sisters, Harriet (Dean) Brenner and Fern (Howard) Davidson. Survived by children, Carol (Lowell) Schellack, Jackie (Alan) Welch, Joel Johnson, Joni (George) Montgomery, and Paula (Dan) Johnson; 7 grandchildren, Mellissa, Jessica, Jason, Julie, Molly, Cory and Jenna; 6 great-grandchildren, Allison, Trevin, Amalya, Emilia, Avery and Aiden; brother, Harvey (Eileen) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born in Oslo, MN and raised in Warren, MN, Elizabeth (“Betty”) raised her children in south Minneapolis and Bloomington. As a hairdresser, Betty worked in salons before becoming the proprietor of House of Hair Design in Uptown Minneapolis for 10 years. Her talents and interests included: traveling, decorating, gardening, and spending time with her family. Graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Warren, MN.
