Obituary of Betty Marguerite Hendricks

Hendricks, Betty Marguerite (née Reese) passed away peacefully on March 31st at age 92 and a half (almost), following a valiant effort to overcome a stroke in early January. As she had planned, she died at home with loving daughters Kathy and Jill at her side. Appropriately, Frank Sinatra was crooning in the background. Preceded in death by her husband James E. Hendricks, parents Charles and Hilda (Swanberg) Reese, sisters Ruth Turnquist and Shirley Hall, brother-in-law Frank Turnquist. She is survived by her two daughters Kathy Hendricks and Jill Hendricks, many loving nieces and nephews, and the last man standing, brother-in-law Ron Hall. Betty (and for the last time, that IS her given name...DO NOT call her Elizabeth) was an amazingly strong women who never appreciated just how strong she really was. She was a beautiful woman, but never actually believed it. She was one of the smartest people around; THAT she kind of knew. And best mother ever. Memorials preferred to Health Partners Hospice. Memorial service will be held at 4pm Friday, April 7th, with visitation 1 hour before the service at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN.
