Obituary of Joseph J. Weber

Joseph J. Weber “Joe” January 4, 1943 to April 2, 2017 Age 74, of Andover, passed away April 2, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Ann. Survived by wife of 51 years, Diane; son, Jay (Maria); son, Daniel (Elicia); grandchildren, Kristen, Brandon, Jacob, Meagan, Cassandra, Kaitlyn, and David; sisters, Florence (Russ) and JoAnn (Duane); brother, Robert; and 7 nieces. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, always putting family first. He believed in the power of God to save us and lived out his faith through his actions. He was known by all for his generous hospitality. He enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation in northern California, at the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota, and on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, MN. He served in the US Navy from 1960-1963 and worked as an engineering inspector for metal fabrication companies (Formac, Harmony Engineering, and Innotek Corporation). Memorial service Monday, April 10, 7PM, at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, 763-560-3100. Visitation prior to the service from 5-7PM. Burial Tuesday, April 11, time 12:15 pm, at Fort Snelling, 7601 34th Av S, Minneapolis, 612-726-1127.
