Obituary of Mary E. Olson

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my wife, lover and best friend, Mary Olson, at the age of 60 years young. Mary lived in Prior Lake and passed away on April 7, 2017 after a courageous two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Mary is survived by Doug her loving husband of 41 years, sons, Robert (Twyla) and Patrick (Chad) as well as the joys of her life, grandchildren Simone and Oliver. Mary is also survived by parents Bill & Betty Leach, siblings Steve (Debbie) Leach, Sheila (Tim) Wisnew, Peggy Krebs, Bob (Kristy) Leach and Kathy (Jeff) Ringsred; and many nieces & nephews. Mary grew up in Bloomington where we met at Kennedy High School. Mary made a career for herself in the fleet leasing business working at both GE Capital and most recently at Wheels, Inc. She made many friends and had many memories in her 25 years in this industry. Mary was a compassionate and loving person who would lend a helping hand to any one in need. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd Street, Lakeville, MN. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Lunch will be served immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date. To honor Mary and her fight against Pancreatic Cancer please wear an article of clothing that is purple.
